PARASYNC is run by FRNK (Marbu Neal Jr). By using the site you agree to what follows. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

Who PARASYNC is for

PARASYNC is a general-audience site. It is not directed at children, it is not built to attract them, and it is not marketed to them. It is a personal creative project — objects, games, and video — made for people old enough to be online on their own.

Age to hold an account

You need to be at least 13 to hold a PARASYNC account or to join the signal list. Below that we do not want your email address, and we will not take it. The check asks for a date of birth, compares it in your browser, and throws it away — we do not store it. See our Privacy page.

Some titles may carry their own Mature (17+) content rating later. That gate is separate from whether you may have an account, and clearing one never clears the other.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has it. You are responsible for what happens under your account. We can suspend or close an account that is being used to harass people, break the law, or attack the site.

Objects are not for sale

The objects shown here are not products. They are one-off pieces FRNK procured or modelled, documented so the work can be seen. Nothing is for sale, nothing is priced, and there is no way to order one. The checkout at /demo/checkout is an interface prototype shown as design work — it holds fixed sample text, cannot take a payment, and is not a shop. If that ever changes, these terms change first.

Games and TV

Some games are played through third-party sites or embedded players, and the TV section plays video hosted by YouTube. Those services have their own terms, and we do not control what they show, whether they stay available, or how they behave. We link to things we think are good; that is the whole of the arrangement.

Otto

Otto is a chatbot. He is often wrong, he is not a person, and he is not advice — not medical, legal, or financial. Do not send him anything private. Treat what he says as decoration rather than fact.

Our stuff and your stuff

The PARASYNC name, the writing, the objects, and the artwork belong to FRNK. Do not resell them or pass them off as your own. Third-party material shown on the site — games, videos, cover art — belongs to whoever made it.

What we promise

The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be up, always be correct, or always work on every device, and we are not liable for losses arising from using it. Nothing here removes rights you have under the law where you live.

Changes
